I am just starting this thread in hopes to see what other people are experiencing as they have ordered their 2023 blazers. I have never ordered a car before and just want here what the process is. I place my order 6/6/22 and I am hoping to have it by the end of September. The estimated first production day for the 2023 model is 8/1/22, so I hope that is true and there are not many pushbacks.

I did not know they were taking orders for 2023 yet. All the ones I had talked to last week still were talking orders for 2022's.
Apparently certain dealerships are allotted preorders and how many orders they can fulfill. So luckily my dealership was able to complete my preorder as soon as they became available. The first day preorders were available was June 1st, which was the day the dealership called me and I placed the order. Now I’m just waiting to receive my vin/serial number

Kind of shocking as they are still saying 2022 order's are 4-6 months out at a minimum. I heard 2023's wont show up until next year.
The Chevy Rep I spoke to told me I would have it no later then the end of October early November. You can still order 2022s and just a few months ago you could still order 2021s on the website. I don’t why they still do that but my build date is 8/1/22, so I guess we’ll find out. My parents ordered a 2022 back in October and got there’s at the end of January. I think it depends on color, trim and features on how long production is. Mine is red hot with blackroof, RS FWD, no sunroof and no ventilated seats.

The front fascia is updated to have a more modern appeal, the taillights and headlights have been updated a little to look sleeker, new interior and exterior colors and biggest update is the infotainment system is now 10” display instead of the previous 8”. If you go to chevys website you can view the new look too!!

Yes they have both for the LT models. I have a RS and I chose the black perforated interior, but they know have a new color for the RS interior called night shift blue. I want to see it in person, but I have a Red Hot with a black roof so I thought the blue would look off. Did you have any estimates or dates given to you?

@KodyM They were not able to offer any pricing or dates yet and that I wouldn't know until later
The day that the cars go into production are the first of august (what I've been told). I would assume that is the day the vin/serial number is made and from there we can track it and see ETA's the GM Authority website released pricing for the cars and they are usually pretty reliable. It looks to be that the cars have increased by $1000 from the previous model year.

@KodyM I did make some modifications, ie. add ons, to mine and the dealer wasn't sure how much those were but that the prices for them would most likely be very similar to the 2022 prices. An example would be the "hit the road" package, which on the 2022 model costs around 1K extra and that number might stay the same or increase for the 2023 model year.
Oh okay I see what you mean, I was going to opt for the sunroof package but did not because I currently have one and do not really care for it. Very excited for this model year and hopefully we will not wait too long for them. Please keep me updated if you get any new info!

Hey all wanting to hop in and join the conversation as I will be a first time owner of the blazer 2023, and I am very excited. I’ll be trading in my 2019 dodge charger scat pack, as I became a father recently. I started with ordering a 2022 chevy blazer RS in February and ended up changing to the 2023 on June 11th because the 2022 progress was going nowhere. I was told my 2023 would be delivered earliest mid September-beginning of October. I got an RS package with both convenience and confident packages. I’m very excited and beyond eager to start driving this beauty, but just wanted to share this info with others who have a similar goal. Keep each other updated!
Hey there! I owned a 2021 blazer and absolutely loved it! I traded it in when gas prices jumped and got a 2022 kia stinger l, but I really need an SUV and made a huge mistake. My timeline is the same. I ordered mine June 1st. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed in your decision.

My dealer called last week and said that my order has been accepted by the factory, but once again production on the 23 models begin in early august. I hope that I can get it by early October.

Just spoke with my Chevy Rep, and my build date for my 2023 has been scheduled for the week of august 8th. I am hoping for a mid September-late September delivery date.
Cool!! I actually just received my order number a few days ago. My rep did not tell me a specific date at this time, just that it says early August. I am hoping that since I ordered mine the very first day you could, that it will be here relatively soon. Have you received a way of tracking yet?

I ordered a Blazer on June 13th, the 1st day my dealer was able to place the order. I checked with him last week (August 1) and he gave me conflicting info on the status, Looks like... well maybe... the typical salesman talk for I don't really know what's going on with it. Yesterday August 8th I read where North America auto production will cut over 100,000 vehicles from production this week alone due to chip shortages. The article did not break it down by manufacturer or models, let's hope it's not the Blazer. I also checked the gmfamilyfirst website to see if they have updated their site to include the 2023 Blazer and they have not as of yet. Models are normally added to the site when production starts.

I'm hoping that we all get our Blazers sooner than later, can anyone with a build number please update us on the status of your progress?
Sure will! my build date is the week of 8/15, which my dealer said usually that means it will be built on the 15th, they just leave a that week as wiggle room just incase

UPDATE: August 17th. Talked to my salesman today and he told me my Blazer build date was scheduled for the week of Sept 26th, 100 days after I put in my order. He also said it is about a 30-day timeframe from build date to delivery. On a positive note, he said the 2023 Blazer would be fully chipped so all options will be fully functional. The gmfamilyfirst website has also been updated this week to include the 2023 Blazer with 2023 pricing.
That's great to hear! my car is apparently in production this week but have not received an update yet. The chevy website has now been updated as well, so if you go on it, you can configure exactly what the car you ordered should look like. I am kind of disappointed that for the RS trims they did not offer an 21" all black wheel. Mine will be 21" gloss black with aluminum accents, but I plan on having them power coated high gloss black. I can not wait to get it and will make sure to post my pics here.
