Hey All,

I am proud owner of a 2020 Blazer RS! I wanted to reach out to everyone for the fact that when it comes to modding, I go ALL IN

I am going to be working with BNR racing on tuning our cars. I will also be purchasing a couple AM parts and doing dyno pulls as well as dragy runs to see the difference and how our cars react.

last, I already have my Magnaflow ordered :) i just put in a drop in K&N filter

My hopes is to see the full potential on this V6 before i slap a SC

I would do some research on the “Drop in filter” you‘ve chosen.
Might as well go with some one ply TP. Its not much worse For the engine.

Trifecta makes a time for these blazers, it doesn’t add enough hp or tq for me to spend the money. Their tunes are however non detectable. I ran their tunes on my CTs-V and verified by pulling software before and after. I think they do tune the transmission shift points and can disable autostop. They claim up to +22whp

I’ve been debating upgrading. I already have the trifecta auto stop delete. It’s the trans tuning and throttle re mapping that is sparking my interest

nothing wrong with the drop in filter.
doesn't add much in the sense of hp/trq, if any, however noticed the mpg increased.
for me at least, I average around 963kms to a tank.
with the factory filter, think it was around 860kms to a tank.
not sure if that was due to the filter change specifically, obviously, weather, temperatures etc etc would have an impact.
but, hasn't harmed anything, and the filter box was clean when I cleaned it last.

K&N been around for many years, if their product didn't work, they'd be out of business.

K&N filters are not in any way going to protect anything. There are enough real world tests in the labs and on the roads to substantiate that. Believe what you want. It’s the intellect like yours that keeps them in business. The harsher the conditions the quicker they fail. Do your due diligence before talking out your shorts.

Intellect like mine? You must be American to be so arrogant.
Show me the proof, since you claim to know everything.

Lol! I'm pretty confident you take a car without a filter and car with a K&N and the K&N will protect more than the one without. Does it allow more air to flow? Of course they do but cleaned and oiled correctly and regularly and they do just as good imo. I had one on my 2004 GMC Sierra since the day it was new, when I sold it with 180k miles it was not smoking and running strong. I have one on my 2014 Denali, one on my '67 Camaro, and will prob look at one for the Blazer.
