For 2019 Chevy has reintroduced the Blazer but not as the truck-based SUV that we all remember. While some may feel it an injustice to the legacy of the nameplate, Chevy is looking to fill a niche within their lineup that sits between the Equinox and Traverse. What it has lost in off-road credibility, it has gained in advanced technology, modern styling, and crossover comfort.
This new midsize SUV features similar pricing and features found it in competitors like the Edge, Passport, Sante Fe and Murano with the exception of automatic emergency braking. Chevy has created four distinct trim levels for their new sporty crossover, and each comes with distinct levels of equipment and creature comforts.
The Base L model starts from $29,995 and comes with cruise control, keyless ignition, an 8.0-inch touchscreen with 6 speaker audio, dual-zone automatic climate control, power locks/windows/mirrors, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility, wireless internet hardware and a 6-way manual driver's seat (4-way passenger seat).
The $33,495 Blazer LT adds a power driver's seat and satellite radio. Should you choose you can opt for the V6 engine, a navigation package, Bose audio, blind spot monitors, heated front seats, rear parking sensors, and a powered tailgate.
Once you step up to the $41,795 RS trim you get a more aggressive and distinctive look and a host of new equipment. Navigation, blind spot monitors, a cargo management system, rear parking sensors, remote start, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, a rearview camera, and a sunroof are all standard. The smaller 18-inch wheels are replaced by larger, sportier black 21-inch rims.
Finally, the $43,895 Premier completes the lineup with cooled front seats, heated rear seats, an 8 speaker Bose audio system and power tilt/telescope steering.
Additional options include things like memory seats, wireless phone charging, rear seat entertainment systems, and a surround view camera.
There is something here to fit every styling preference and budget and with the configurator live, you can mix and match to find that perfect build.
