car is relatively new, seems strange the FOB batteries would go bad so quickly
I was going to tell ya that but I'm glad I keep reading. The only thing that git me was I have the 19 permire and were my speed is on dash it said my fob battery low then started tell me it wasn't detected. New batteries all is great again. 👍 have a good day 😊Within the last week our 2019 Blazer started acting weird, it would not start like it did before, always starting just after hitting the start button. In order to get it started I would have to put the fob in the cup holder then it would start but only after holding the start button much longer than usual. Then to shut the engine off I would have to hold the start button. Then sometimes the fob would not do anything, lock/unlock doors, remote start, open the tailgate, the main fob or the backup/second fob.
checked all the fuses to make sure they were all fully seated, no change. As a last resort I put new batteries in both fobs, YAY back to normal. What was throwing me off was we rarely use the second fob so the thought of both fob batteries going bad was not considered, until the end. Future advice start with replacing the fob batteries.
