The Challenger really strikes a cord with the older generation as it does in fact have similarities to it's earlier glory days. Everything else.. not so much. But the variety of consumers for those vehicles is very evident.

With an expected sale date in 2018, as a 2019 model, the truck-based SUV is expected to go against the Ford Edge and Nissan Murano instead of more off-road biased models. That's too bad because rugged off-roader fans who were hoping for something they can take from showroom to dirt may need to look elsewhere or make a few modifications. Would have been nice to see a TrailBlazer.

Not a problem since this is GM and unlike other car makers we have some great options, unless someone is willing to look elsewhere. Ford is as great option, but on a community like this there's typically some level of brand loyalty. What GM alternative would you go for?

That i won't mind even if I bought used because so many of them are being used as Uber SUV's and Limo's so the market is flush with these and when that happens so are parts for them. Might not be able to say the same about the future Blazer.
