Power would not turn off after shutting engine & exiting, only R.A.P. shutoff would turn everything off.
Driver power window motor replaced by dealer.
Passenger camera stopped working, dealer ordered part.
Side collision indicator stopped working while waiting on above camera, dealer replaced entire mirror assembly (they broke glass on original).
NOISE !! B-pillar rattle, passenger door rattle (probably because both my door panels have been taken on/off multiple times for above issues)
At exactly 52 weeks the battery died & left me stranded.

I bought a new car, to avoid trouble like this.
About 7 or 8 trips to the dealer for diag. & repairs, plus a rental for a week.
I expected more from a $46k vehicle.
NOT keeping this vehicle when the warranty expires.

Yes, but unfortunately it is only within the first year of ownership. Also it must be in for the same issue three times before filing, and once after notifying them you are pursuing a lemon law buyback.

But thanks for the response, good thinking. (y)

I have 2019 Blazer, nice vehicle but mine is starting to act up just owned it for it over a year. The lane keep assist stopped working altogether this week. Just waiting to get it into the dealership. I think if anything else goes wrong I’ll be trading this vehicle in before the warranty expires as well. Little things but for the price point I agree we should expect the quality!

Update, vehicle is now 14 months old and the passenger side camera went out again on Friday 1-8-2021.
This is the same reason I waited almost 6 months for a new mirror assembly from Chevrolet, dealer said bad coax cable.
Then this morning the accessory power would not shut off after I turned the vehicle off & exited.
Radio stayed on again, same issue from January 2020.
Called Friday to reopen my case with Chevrolet advisor, and called dealer to let them know. Both said I would get a call Monday from each, service manager to arrange service and Chevrolet customer care advocate for my case. Guess how many calls I received????? YUP, NONE!!!!
Guess they have my money and I have to chase them now.

So disappointed.

I finally got my Blazer in to the dealer. They said it's the video processing unit this time, and they ordered one.
Parts replaced on 2020 RS:
Driver door window motor
Passenger mirror unit (whole thing)
Battery (completely dead at 1yr)
Video processing unit

Tried for a buyback from GM and was denied. This is the fourth new vehicle purchased from GM, and will unfortunately be the last.

So, I assume you're ready to sell it? I'll give you $5K and I will throw in my 2001 Blazer with only 111K on it!
This kind of brings up a question on any 1st year model of any GM car. Is it the experience of people on this site positive or negative in regards to purchasing a 1st year model of any GM car?
I would think (many of) the bugs would come out during the 1st year on most vehicles.
What about the Chevy Cheyenne pickup? Has anyone heard anything about that model?

My apologies, I wasn't trying to be. I did ask a legitimate question though.
IDK, asking if I want to sell my 14 month old, 46k vehicle for 5k felt like salt in a wound.

As you can imagine my Blazer purchase is a sore subject, that I regret. I wanted reliable transportation and I spent a huge sum of money for me, on what I thought would be a trouble free vehicle. It has been anything but, and I have had to make arrangements for time off with my employer to bring it to the dealer for repair, burning vacation days.

In total 15 days at the dealer and a new vehicle that has been torn apart several times. They took apart both doors, dash, & console, left/forgot a screw I found on the floor mat, missing panel fasteners under dash panel fell down while driving, they broke the glass of my passenger side mirror while diagnosing camera failure, now passenger door rattles, they scratched my interior door handle, etc..

I thought buying the year after the introduction of the model would help also, but I have talked to 2019 & 2020 owners and I think the problems are surfacing in both years. Batteries, rattles, and electronic issues are the most common (per service advisor & on here).

As for pickups, I had a 2006 Silverado that gave my zero trouble for 13 years, just standard maintenance (brakes & a battery).

My advise, stay away from these vehicles until they work the bugs out, maybe by year 4 or 5.

I feel your pain. I had similar problems with my 2020 Blazer. The cameras went out and after the dealer had the blazer for almost ten days, they fixed it and they also had to put in a new video processing unit. Then the Blazer was leaking coolant. Brought it back and after three days it was repaired. Soon after, it started leaking again. After ordering more parts and about ten days later, I got the Blazer back. So far, (cross my fingers) it has been working. But all of this occurred while it was under 5 months old and with less than 1200 miles. I feel like you, this will be the last GM vehicle for me too. I hope we both have better luck without any further problems.

Wow, sorry you're having as much trouble as I am. Ironically, I am going to the dealer today to have the video processing unit replaced (part just came in). Hope this calms things down for awhile.
Good luck and thanks for posting about your Blazer.
