New Three-Row 2020 Chevy Blazer XL Prototype Spied in Colorado

Finally, everything we heard about a three-row 2020 Chevrolet Blazer XL headed for China, is finally confirmed in this recent set of spy shots.

The FNR-CarryAll Concept made its debut in China as a comfortable six-passenger SUV, giving us an early look at the all-new Blazer. Like the concept, expect a production version to also launch in China as Chevrolet moves to capitalize on the worlds most lucrative automotive market. Other growing automotive markets are expected to get the Blazer XL although no confirmation for the North American market, even with prototype testing done in Colorado for now.

Unlike the full-size Chevrolet Traverse (not sold in China), this new third row mid-size SUV might not be as generous on space. Wheelbase on the XL is said to be 112.9-inches long, about 8-inches shorter than the Traverse. Combine that with its sportier design and the result is, rear seating that's a squeeze for adults but perfect for children.

Similarly configured models are sold in the U.S. like the Ford Explorer, Honda Passport and Santa Fe XL. Just to give you an idea of how it could fit in if targeted towards U.S. consumers.

Stay tuned as we follow the latest developments on the 2020 Blazer XL.

It would be shame if this was exclusive sold in China.
Just look at GM's home market, even Honda is finding success selling a three row even among all its struggle to see sales elsewhere.

Sales of the Traverse have gone up year after year.

As long as that keeps up I highly doubt American's will be getting the Blazer XL.
